OnePlus Ace 3 AKA 12R found listed on China Telecom, revealing first look ahead of official launch
The OnePlus Ace 3 aka the OnePlus 12R was recently teased by the company in China. The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to debut in China ahead of its global launch as the OnePlus 12R.
As per the famous tipster, DCS company can launch the OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4th, 2024. Ahead of its launch, the smartphone was listed on the China Telecom website with its first look image.
As per the images, the company seems to have not touched the design language of the handset and has kept it the same as its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2.
As per the image, it will come with a curved display with a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The rear side of the smartphone is shown to have a triple camera setup with an LED flash arranged in a circular camera module.
Expected specs of OnePlus Ace 3
As per the official teaser from BOE, the device will feature a 6.78-inch wide 1220p curved display with ProXDR support and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Its Geekbench listing has confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and can be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Though this smartphone was later taken down from the China Telecom site, Android Treasure (Via GSMARENA) managed to take a screenshot that reveals some additional information about this handset.
As per the listing, the handset can come in three variants 16GB/1TB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. The smartphone has earlier appeared on 3C and also suggested that it will come with the support for 100W fast charging while its recent listing says it will be backed by a 5500 mAh battery.
It is mentioned to come with a 50 MP primary camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear side. The front side of the smartphone will come with a 16MP selfie camera. The device will also boast a metallic frame, an alert slider, an IR blaster, a dual speaker, and NFC functionality. Its dimensions measure 163.30 x 75.27 x 8.8mm, with a weight of 207 grams. As far as price is concerned the listing revealed that 12GB + 256GB is priced at 3299 yuan(~$460), 16GB + 512GB at 3699 Yuan($520), 16GB + 1TB is priced at 3999 Yuan(~$560).
As far as colour option is concerned the listing mentions Star Black, Moon Sea, and Sand Gold.
