OnePlus Ace 3 Pro key specifications leak reveals curved-edge OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and more
At the beginning of this year, OnePlus announced the OnePlus Ace 3 in China. This phone came as a successor to last year’s Ace 2. As per reports, the brand is also gearing up to launch two more Ace-branded phones, such as the Ace 3V and the Ace 3 Pro, within the first half of the year. Recent leaks have revealed that the Ace 2V will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, whereas the Ace 3 Pro will be a more powerful device equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Here is a new leak by tipster Smart Pikachu that talks about the key specs of the Pro model.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The leak claims that the company is currently testing the device with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. He added that the device will continue to feature a curved-edge OLED panel.
There is no information on the launch timeframe of the device. Since the OnePlus 12, which debuted in early December 2023 in China, is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the company may likely want to maintain a gap of at least six months before launching a phone with the same chip in the Chinese market. Hence, it is likely that the device, the Ace 3 Pro, may break cover in May or June this year.
A previous leak revealed that the Ace 3 Pro would also feature a metallic middle frame and a glass back. Unfortunately, there is no word about the cameras, battery size, or charging capabilities of the device.
