OnePlus Ace 3V with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 confirmed to launch next week
OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone in China. Rumours have it that the same phone or its tweaked version will be released in the global market with the Nord 4 moniker. While the launch date of the Ace 3V remains a mystery, OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will feature the next-generation Snapdragon 7-series chipset.
The OnePlus Ace 3V will ship with the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, according to the poster above. For those who don’t know, Qualcomm recently confirmed that it would hold a launch event on March 18 in China. At the event, the company is expected to announce two new chipsets, namely the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Reports have revealed that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip will comprise 1 x Cortex-X4 CPU core working at 2.9GHz, 3 x Cortex-A520 CPU cores operating at 1.9GHz, and 4 x Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocking at 2.6GHz. For graphics, the chip is said to include an Adreno 732 GPU. The new chip will succeed the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, which powered the likes of the Poco F5, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, and the Realme GT Neo 5 SE last year.
The other poster released by OnePlus confirms that the Ace 3V will launch in the coming week. It will have a new violet variant and sport a new design for the rear panel.
