OnePlus first foldable smartphone OnePlus Open teased to launch soon in India and global market

The OnePlus much much-awaited first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, is expected to launch soon in India and the global market. OnePlus has teased users with a post that gives a glimpse of a phone with a message that reads “A true OnePlus experience. How does it feel? Opening Soon”. The image shared by OnePlus through its X account shows a side view of the phone that flaunts its characteristic alert slider. Similar words were used by OnePlus when Samsung launched Galaxy Z Fold 5 and it wrote “We OPEN when others FOLD”.

This smartphone’s first look was recently revealed in a video posted by the YouTube channel @Unbox Therapy that also revealed the major improvement that it will come with. It is revealed to be the same phone that Oppo will sell in the global market as Oppo Find N3. This was confirmed by OnePlus in an announcement emailed to The Verge, though the company didn’t mention the name of the phone but it is believed to be the OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3.

Just recently a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared the specs of the phone. The tipster mentioned that the OnePlus Open can come with a 7.82-inch OLED inner display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2440×2268 pixels and a 6.31-inch OLED outer display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1116×2484 pixels resolution. Tipster also mentioned that it can come with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel secondary camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is also revealed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB internal storage. It can come with a 4,805 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.
