OnePlus has reportedly cancelled the plan to equip OnePlus Ace 3 with 32 MP IMX709 2X telephoto camera

A few months ago OnePlus China’s president confirmed that it will soon launch the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3 in China. The company has launched the OnePlus 12 smartphone while the launch date of the OnePlus Ace 3 remains unknown. Ahead of its launch OnePlus Ace 3 has been part of numerous rumours and reports. And once again an update has come about it.

As per the recent Weibo post by DCS, OnePlus has dropped the plan to equip the OnePlus Ace 3 with a 32 MP IMX709 2X telephoto camera. In addition to this detail, the tipster wrote that the handset can come with a 6.78-inch wide 1.5K BOE display with 2780×1264 pixel resolution. It is also mentioned to come with a metal middle frame, and a glass back. As far as a colour option is concerned tipster wrote it can arrive in Gray, Gold, and Blue colour option.

It can be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. And can be backed by a 5500 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. It is tipped to launch on 17th December 2023 in China. As far as the global debut is concerned it can come as the OnePlus 12R in the global market by next month.
