OnePlus Open Global Launch Date Officially Revealed: Confirmed to Debut this Month

OnePlus’ very first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, will be having its global launch this month in India, the same day on which OPPO’s Find N3 debuts both in the global and Chinese market.

It is now official that the OnePlus Open foldable smartphone will be unveiled for the global market on the coming 19th of October 2023, at the OnePlus launch event scheduled to take place in Mumbai, India, at 7:30PM IST (10:00 AM EDT | 4:00 PM CEST). The launch page has also been listed on OnePlus’ official Indian website, along with some exciting benefits and offers.

As mentioned, OPPO has also confirmed to launch the Find N3 foldable smartphone too on the same day itself, in its home market in China, as well as in the global market at the launch event to be conducted in Singapore.

The soon-to-be-launched OnePlus Open is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is likely to be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The device might also be featuring a 7.82″ OLED inner display(2440×2268 pixels resolution & 120Hz refresh rate), and a 6.31″ OLED cover display(1116×2484 pixels resolution & 120 Hz refresh rate).

At the rear, a triple camera setup will likely be present, sporting a 48MP main camera, 48MP secondary camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capability.

Regarding the battery backup, the device may be backed by a 4,805 mAh battery, which might be supporting a 100W fast charge feature.
