The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is nearing the launch of its first-ever foldable smartphone- OnePlus Open. We have been constantly sharing the updates of this upcoming foldable device with you and today we have arrived with a most awaited update for our readers, the launch of OnePlus Open.
Well today at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 event, the smartphone brand has officially confirmed that OnePlus Open will be launching soon. They also mentioned that this new device is set to redefine the concept of foldable smartphones by delivering all-around flagship-level experiences in a compact foldable form. The company has also promised that more details regarding this device will be available soon on their official website, social media channels, and OnePlus forums.
Though the company has not mentioned the exact launch date of this upcoming device, now tipster Max Jambor on the X platform did mention that the OnePlus Open will be launching on October 19th.

Whether this tipped launch date is true or not will only be confirmed after the official announcement made by the company. Previously it was reported that Oppo Find N3 Fold will be arriving as OnePlus Open in the global markets. It is said to arrive in two color variants-Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse. If we talk about the specifications, based on recent updates, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and might offer a RAM of upto 16GB along with an internal storage of upto 256GB. The device is also likely to feature a 7.8″ inner foldable display and a 6.3″ cover display. At its rear, the OnePlus foldable is probably also going to sport a triple camera setup with two 48MP cameras and a 64MP telephoto camera. About the battery backup, the upcoming device may pack a 4,800 mAh battery which supports a 67W fast charge feature.
