Oppo A2 5G smartphone announced to launch on November 11 in China
Oppo has officially announced the launch date of another smartphone of the A series after the A2 Pro and A2x. This smartphone is none other than Oppo A2 5G which was recently spotted on China’s TENAA database with the model number PJB110.
As per the announcement by Oppo, this smartphone will be launched in China on November 11. It is a rebranded version of the recently launched Oppo A79 smartphone.
The smartphone comes with a 6.72-inch wide FHD+ display resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and Oppo’s day AI eye protection for a safe viewing experience. The Oppo A2 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 5G processor with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512 GB internal storage. The camera section includes a dual camera setup arranged on a rectangular platform; it includes a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 primary sensor and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B portrait sensor on the rear.
The front side of the smartphone comes with an 8 MP selfie camera. The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It runs ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Additionally, it also offers RAM expansion up to 8GB and comes with dual speaker setup and dual SIM. Its dimensions are 165.61×76.02×7.9mm and weighs 193 grams.
