The OPPO A79 5G smartphone has appeared on the SIRM certification database with the model number – CPH2557 and has been certified with the type approval code RGQL/63F/1023/S(23-4385).
The OPPO Pad Neo tablet, on the other hand, has received the certification with the type approval code of REAO/59E/1023/S(23-4610). The device has been spotted with the model number – OPD2302.
Both the devices received the SIRIM approval on the same day(4th October 2023), and the certification will expire on the same day itself, on the 3rd of October 2023.
Previously, both the above-mentioned devices were spotted on other certification platforms as well, and some of their specs have also been revealed.
The OPPO A79 5G smartphone, the successor to the A78 5G, has been certified by certification bodies like UAE’s TDRA, Thailand’s NBTC, Singapore’s IMDA, and the TUV Rheinland authorities. The smartphone will be a 5G device with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity support, and will be packing a 4880 mAh rated battery with a 33W fast charge feature.
Regarding the OPPO Pad Neo, the device will be arriving as OPPO’s fourth tablet device and is likely going to be the rebadged version of the OnePlus Pad Go tablet, due to the similarity in their model numbers. Nothing much is known about the device, but its NBTC certification points out that the tablet is a 4G device, supporting 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity.
