OPPO A79 5G emerges on Thailand’s NBTC certification
Earlier this year, OPPO announced the OPPO A78 5G smartphone in different markets. A new development suggests that the company may release its successor, the OPPO A79 5G, in multiple markets in the next few months.
The screenshot shared in the post showcases that the forthcoming OPPO A79 5G has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC certification platform. The listing confirms that the device’s model number is CPH2557, but does not state anything about its core specifications.
The OPPO A79 5G has been recently spotted at other certification platforms, such as TUV Rheinland and Singapore’s IMDA. While the IMDA listing did not reveal anything significant, the TUV certification unearthed that it will have a 4,800mAh (rated value) battery and support 33W fast charging.
These certifications also hint that it will not take too long for the A79 5G to go official. Here is a look at the specifications that are available for its predecessor model.
