OPPO Find N3 certified in Thailand, Indonesia ahead of expected August launch

OPPO is expected to announce the Find N3 foldable phone in China in August. Its predecessor models, such as the OPPO Find N and Find N2, have remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Hence, reports claimed that the Find N3 would not launch in markets outside of China. However, now that the Find N3 has bagged certifications in Thailand and Indonesia, it seems that it will be OPPO’s first foldable phone to release in the global market.

As can be seen in the screenshots below, the NBTC certification has revealed that the OPPO device with the CPH2499 model number will be called the OPPO Find N3 when it releases in Thailand. The other screenshots show that the CPH2499 device has also been approved by Indonesia’s TKDN authority and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

OPPO’s sibling brand OnePlus is gearing up to launch its first foldable phone, dubbed the OnePlus Open, in the global market. A reliable tipster recently revealed that it will debut on Aug. 29. There have been reports that it will be nothing but a rebranded version of the OPPO Find N3.
