Oppo Find N3 launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor at a price of SGD 2,399, pre order begins tomorrow
Oppo has finally launched the Oppo Find N3 which is going to be the first foldable by the company to arrive in the Global market. The handset comes with a 6.31 inch 2484×1116 pixels resolution AMOLED cover display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio that makes it feel like a normal nonfolding phone when folded. Unfolding the Find N3 shows you a 7.82-inch wide 2440×2268 pixels resolution panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 2,800 nits of peak brightness. As per the company, this is the brightest and clearest folding screen ever.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. An independent security chip will keep the user’s data safe and secure in the handset. The Oppo Find N3 is backed by a 4,805 mAh battery that supports 67 W SUPERVOOC charging. It takes just 42 minutes to charge the handset up to 100%.
The camera section includes a 32 MP camera on the cover screen and 20 MP on the inside. The rear side of the smartphone comes with Sony’s new 48 MP LYTIA-T808 pixel stacked sensor that is 20% larger than the previous generation sensor and offers up to 255% better dynamic range. It has also a 48 MP 1/ 2″ sensor ultra-wide camera that the company says is the biggest ultra-wide sensor in any foldable. And there is a 64 MP 1/ 2″ sensor with a 3×70mm f/2.6 periscope lens.
For multitasking, this phone comes with Boundless View thus allowing users to open up to three windows at a time on screen. As per the company, it offers users a 15-inch virtual screen. Users also get to use an array of features with Microsoft 365 that will be free initially. The Oppo Find N3 comes in two colours Champagne Gold with glass back and Classic Black with vegan leather back. It’s light as well as thin with 239 g weight and 5.8 mm width.
Price and availability
The handset has been priced at SGD 2,399(INR 145,400, € 1,650) for a 16/512 GB sole configuration. Pre-orders will begin tomorrow and it will be available on the company’s official website.
In China, the phone is priced at 9999 yuan (USD 1,366 / Rs. 1,13,800 approx.) for the 12GB + 512GB model which comes in Green and Gold colors, and the 16GB + 1TB collector’s edition in Red and Black costs 12999 yuan (USD 1.776 / Rs. 148,960 approx.) . It is available to order and will go on sale starting from October 27th.
The launch event also marked the launch of Oppo Find N3 Flip which has already been launched in China and India.
