While the company has confirmed support for satellite communications on the Find X7, it is unclear whether it will be available on the X7 Pro as well as the X7. For those who don’t know, the X7 will feature the Dimensity 9300 SoC, which also powers the Vivo X100, and the X7 Pro will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Earlier this week, Qualcomm China announced that it is collaborating with smartphone manufacturers like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo to collectively work on the development of 5G mobile phone communication technology via satellite direct connectivity. This indicates that, apart from Huawei, it appears that other brands will also incorporate satellite communication capabilities into their future devices. As far as the Find X7 series is concerned, it is likely that the feature could be limited to the Pro model.

Satellite communication technology offers mobile phones the ability to communicate without reliance on ground-based stations, proving to be a critical feature for users in remote areas or during emergencies.

Returning to the Find X7 series, it will be the first to feature the HyperTone camera system, which OPPO has developed in partnership with Hasselblad. One of the features it will offer is that it will equip users with multiple focal settings, ensuring high-quality image capture in both daylight and nighttime settings at each focal length. A recent leak revealed that the Find X7 Pro will feature the upcoming Sony LYT-900 Lytia camera sensor, which is said to be modified version of the existing 1-inch, Sony IMX989 camera sensor.
