Oppo launched Oppo A2x smartphone in China with Dimensity 6020 processor and 90 Hz display
Oppo has unveiled a new phone named Oppo A2x without much hullabaloo in its home market. This affordable smartphone is announced to go on sale on October 14 and is listed on the company’s website. It will be available for buyers at a starting price of CNY 1,099. Its key specs include a Dimensity 6020 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 6.56-inch LCD display.

The Oppo A2X comes with a 6.56-inch LCD display with a teardrop notch that sports HD+ resolution, 720×1612 pixels resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and up to 720 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Dimensity 6020 chipset and runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and packs 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Its camera specs remain unknown though it is reported to come with a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash. The smartphone comes with an IP54-rated body that weighs 185 grams and dimensions 163.8 x 75.1 x 8.12mm.

The Oppo A2x has been announced to go on sale on Oct 14. Its 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant is listed on the website for CNY 1,099(~$153) whereas its 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,399(~$195). The handset is available in three colour options black, gold, and purple.
