OPPO launches 33W SuperVOOC shared charging station in China

OPPO has announced the “Super Flash Charge Membership” program via its official Weibo platform. This initiative gives OPPO / OnePlus members access to 33W SuperVOOC shared power banks available for rental in OPPO stores. Users can simply enter an OPPO store, rent a power bank, and return it later once their phone is fully charged.

OPPO has developed a SUPERVOOC 33W shared charging station in collaboration with China-based Pinsheng Electronics. These charging stations are available in OPPO stores across China and promise a comprehensive solution with advanced software, hardware, and IoT integration. It is specifically designed to support rapid charging for a range of OPPO and OnePlus mobile devices.

What sets this charging solution apart from conventional shared power banks is its impressive charging power. Typical shared power banks offer charging rates of 10W-12W, while the SUPERVOOC 33W shared power bank provides significantly faster charging speeds.

OPPO’s shared power bank features an 8,000mAh battery. Users can rent the power bank for 30 minutes for 1 yuan. OPPO / OnePlus users receive an additional benefit of up to 300 minutes of complimentary charging per month. Renting a 33W power bank is easy with QR code scanning for quick access and return. Users also have the support of experienced consultants to facilitate hassle-free returns.

At present, the Oppo’s 33W shared power bank service is only available in China. There is no word on whether the brand will make it available for other markets anytime soon.
