OPPO Pad 2 3C certified, likely to launch in March
Oppo Pad 2 has been certified by the 3C authority of China. The tablet was previously seen at the Bluetooth SIG regulatory body in January. Speculations are rife that the tablet will go official in March in the home market.
In Bluetooth SIG’s database, the OPPO Pad 2 was listed as model number OPD2201. Now, it has emerged at 3C with the same model number. The 3C certification reveals that the tablet may support 67W fast charging. However, it does not mention support for cellular connectivity, which suggests that it could be a Wi-Fi only device.
Shown below is an SMS that OPPO users in China are now receiving. It provides a URL where users can register for an upcoming launch event, through which OPPO will unveil its flagship products. It is speculated that the company may hold a launch event by late March in the home market. The event is expected to see the arrival of the OPPO Find X6, Find X6 Pro, and OPPO Pad 2, among other products.
There are a lot of rumours that the OPPO Pad 2 could be identical to the OnePlus Pad, which was recently announced for the global market. It may come with a 11.6-inch LCD display that supports 2.8K resolution, a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage.
The Pad 2 may feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It could be powered by a 9,510mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
