OPPO Reno 11 series tipped to launch ahead of schedule, key details emerge

OPPO is reportedly working on the Reno 11 series of smartphones. Some early rumours claimed that it will be announced in November this year in China. However, a Chinese leaker claims that it will arrive earlier than expected.

According to the tipster, the OPPO Reno 11 series phones are equipped with a curved display, a periscope telephoto macro camera, and a new design for the glass back. It is likely that the Reno 11 lineup will inherit cameras from the previous generation. However, the company is expected to offer a refined camera experience as compared to its predecessor.

To recall, the OPPO Reno 10 features a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens. The Reno 10 Pro has the same camera setup as the Reno 10 but features an IMX890 50-megapixel main camera. The Reno 10 Pro+’s camera setup has an IMX890 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The camera specifications of the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro available in China are different from their global counterparts.

While the Reno 11 series is expected to debut earlier, it is likely that it will be available for purchase during China’s Double 11 (November 11) shopping festival. More details of the Reno 11 series are expected to appear in the coming month after the company launches its next foldable phone, the OPPO Find N3. As it is known, the same device is likely to be available under the OnePlus Fold moniker in some markets.
