Reports have revealed that the global variants of the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro smartphones have received TÜV certification, indicating that the devices meet international safety standards. While the certification doesn’t reveal much about the smartphones, it confirms that they have passed safety tests and met requirements.
It should be noted that the POCO F5 (model number 23049PCD8G) is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone, while the POCO F5 Pro (model number 23013PC75G) is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K60 smartphone. Both devices are scheduled to be released on April 6, 2023.
In addition to the TÜV certification, the POCO F5 has appeared on the FCC certification website, and the POCO F5 Pro has been spotted on the SIRIM certification website. The specifications of the two smartphones have also been leaked before their launch.

The POCO F5 smartphone is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and is likely to run the latest Android 13-based MIUI(for POCO) custom user interface out of the box. It may come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The device is expected to feature a 6.67″ full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
On the rear, the smartphone is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The smartphone is also expected to be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 67W.
As for the POCO F5 Pro, the smartphone may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and will likely run the Android 13-based MIUI(for POCO) custom user interface out of the box.
The device is expected to feature a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a 2K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Regarding the cameras, the POCO F5 Pro is also expected to come with a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP main camera that supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The main camera may also be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The smartphone is likely to have a 5500 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 67W.
