Realme 12+ 5G NBTC certified in Thailand, launch imminent
Realme will unveil the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones on Jan. 29 through a global launch event. At the same time, the brand is also said to be working on the Realme 12 series of smartphones. One of the non-Pro models that has been recently in the news is the Realme 12+ 5G. The said device was recently approved in Malaysia, and now it has been approved in Thailand.
The above image shows that the Realme 12+ 5G, which is identified with the RMX3867 model number, has received certification from Thailand’s NBTC platform. Like the Malaysian SIRIM certification, the NBTC listing of the device has no information about its specifications.
Reports surrounding the device claim that it will run on Realme UI 5-based Android 14. It will come with support for connectivity features such as dual SIM 5G and NFC.
For photography, the Realme 12+ 5G may feature a 16-megapixel front camera. On the back, it may feature a 64-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel sensor, probably for ultra-wide shots.
Recently, a Realme device with RMX3866 was approved by China’s 3C authority. While the official name of this model is not known, the similar model number suggests that it could be the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G. The 3C certification of the device has revealed that it will support 67W fast charging, but there is no information about its battery size or other specifications.
