Realme 12 Pro+ receives 3C certification, reveals 67W fast charging

Realme is scheduled to introduce the Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones globally on Jan. 29, with a potential separate launch event for the Chinese market following the global announcement. Leading up to the anticipated launch, both the Chinese and global versions of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ have recently secured key certifications. Earlier this week, TUV certification confirmed the fast charging capabilities of the global Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ models, identified as RMX3842 and RMX3840. Now, the Chinese variant of the Realme 12 Pro+ with the model number RMX3841 has surfaced on China’s 3C certification platform, reaffirming its fast charging capabilities.

To recall, the Realme 11 Pro+, which debuted last year, came equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supported 100W charging. The in-box 100W charger allows the smartphone to achieve a full charge in 26 minutes. The TUV certification of the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ revealed that both devices will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 67W fast charging.

The 3C certification for the Chinese version of the Realme 12 Pro Plus discloses the inclusion of a VCB7CACH/VCB7OACH power brick, supporting rapid 67W fast charging. Despite a potential downgrade in charging speed compared to its predecessor, the Realme 11 Pro+, the 67W charger is expected to enable users to achieve a complete charge in approximately 50 minutes.

The Realme 12 Pro’s Chinese variant with model number RMX3843 is yet to receive 3C certification. However, it is also expected to support 67W fast charging like its global version.
