Realme C55 new color variant- Rainforest edition makes it’s debut in India , will go on sale from May 8
Realme unveiled its affordable smartphone Realme C55 this year in the month of March. The smartphone launched with basic features and unique software capabilities along with a sleek design. Earlier the smartphone was made available in two color variants – Sun Shower and Rainy Night but on the occasion of the brand’s 5th anniversary, the company has today launched a new color variant of this smartphone.
Realme C55 is now available in the Rainforest edition which features a unique back cover design that resembles a picturesque scene of a summer rainforest. As claimed by Redmi the design of the smartphone has been inspired by the natural phenomenon of the Sunshower that creates vertical microscope lines resembling rain droplets. The specifications of this latest edition are as same as the previous models available in the market.
Realme C55 : Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.52-inch LCD FHD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will run on UI 4.0 which is based on Android 13 OS.
It houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device packs up a dual rear camera setup that includes 64MP primary camera 2MP depth camera along with 8MP selfie camera.
Apart from this the device also comes with a Mini Capsule feature which is similar to iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island feature.

The smartphone will be available for sale from May 8 through Realme’s official website and Flipkart. It will arrive with three storage options :
