Qualcomm is gearing up for an imminent announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the tech world is abuzz with anticipation. According to recent reports, the Xiaomi 14 series is poised to make its debut on October 27, marking itself as one of the earliest adopters of the SD8G3 chip. The information that several brands, including Realme, are planning to introduce their own smartphones running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 this year in China is further fueling excitement. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to leak the design and key specifications of the GT 5 Pro.

According to DCS, the upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro will sport a large round camera module on the rear, like the Realme 11 Pro series. He added that there will be a plain leather variant for those seeking a premium aesthetic.
As per reports, the specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro will be similar to those of the OnePlus 12. These include a high-quality 2K curved-edge display supplied by China-based BOE. Under the hood, it will house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
There will be a metal middle frame, which will add durability and a premium touch to the phone’s build. A recent leak claimed that it would have a dustproof and water-resistant body.
In the camera department, the Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 OIS main camera, alongside an ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope zoom camera with 3x optical zoom, promising versatile and high-quality photography. It will pack a 5,400mAh battery and support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The GT 5 Pro will incorporate a substantial 10,000mm² VC heat dissipation system, similar to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
