Realme GT 5 Pro retail box image revealed, launch date still under wraps
Realme has not yet disclosed the design and release date for its upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro. The company is currently busy building anticipation by gradually unveiling the significant specifications of what is expected to be its most powerful flagship phone to date. Today, Realme China’s Marketing Director, Chuchu Jessie, took to Weibo to reveal the retail box of the GT 5 Pro.
The image shared by the Realme executive provides a glimpse of only one side of the box, specifically the top side. The box itself is entirely black, featuring a prominent golden strip adorned with the “GT 5 Pro” branding.
As is known, the Realme GT 5 Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to feature a periscope telephoto camera. It will be using the IMX890 Sony lens for periscope telephoto shots, which will offer up to 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.
The GT 5 Pro’s rear camera setup will feature the 50-megapixel LYT-808 camera sensor, which is the same primary camera that is available on the OnePlus Open and the upcoming OnePlus 12. In addition to the primary and periscope cameras, the GT 5 Pro’s camera setup is expected to include an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device may feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 5 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and its topmost variant may feature 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to pack a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. In terms of display, it is expected to feature a BOE-supplied 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144H refresh rate. The device is expected to run on Realme UI 5-based Android 14. While its launch date is yet to be announced, the brand has already said that it will be unveiled in November in China.
