Realme GT 5 Pro to be the first to come with Realme UI 5 out of the box
Realme is gearing up for the upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 5 Pro, scheduled for launch on December 7th. The brand has been teasing its features, and pre-reservations have already begun in China. Realme has also hinted at the global launch of the GT 5 Pro, although the date for the global release has not been revealed yet.
Today, the brand announced that this smartphone will be the first to come equipped with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 out of the box. Realme is also committing to three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. This means that the flagship will receive Android 17 in the coming years. Additionally, the brand has disclosed a significant AI upgrade with a super assistant boasting 7 billion parameters.
Now let’s talk about what has been revealed so far about this smartphone
As per previous reports, it is confirmed to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. Moving onto the camera specs, it is revealed to have a Sony LYTIA primary sensor and a Sony IMX890 telephoto lens. We will also see a 10,000mm2 heat dissipation unit and a 3VC cooling system. The brand has also revealed that there is going to be a Red Rock color variant of this smartphone.
Coming to the display features, it will have the world’s first BOE customized 6.78″ 1.5K display screen which will have a brightness rate of 4500 nits. To those who love fast charging Realme is going to offer a 100W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging fast charging. It is also revealed to have a 5400 mAh battery.
Now, turning to the pricing, although the launch date is still a bit away, a recent leak has revealed that the starting price for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to be CNY 3,499.
