Realme GT 5 specifications
As can be seen in the poster above, Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT 5 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It appears that the highest variant of the device will offer 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
For enhanced gaming and visual experiences, the Realme GT 5 will feature the PixelWorks X7 visual co-processor. Realme China’s President confirmed that the screen will support a 144Hz refresh rate. With these specs, the GT 5 will be competing with the likes of recently announced flagship phones, such as the iQOO 11S, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, and Redmi K60 Ultra, in the Chinese market.
One of the major attractions of the Realme GT 5 is that it may arrive in two battery variants, such as 4,600mAh and 5,200mAh. These variants are expected to support 150W and 240W fast charging, respectively.
At present, it is unclear whether the Realme GT 5 will be released on the global market. As per reports, the brand also plans to launch the GT 5 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a couple of months after the GT 5. The Pro model is expected to house a curved-edge display and a periscope zoom camera.
