Realme GT Neo 6 launching with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on May 9th in China

After much anticipation, Realme has finally announced the launch date of the Realme GT Neo 6, which will take place on May 9th in China. Just yesterday, we covered its reservations being opened in China on JD.com and confirmed it to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Realme has codenamed this upcoming smartphone as ‘Hurricane’ and is positioning it as a performance smartphone. It is also expected to feature some AI capabilities, as the chipset offers AI capabilities.

As reported earlier, this smartphone will be the first from Realme to offer 120W fast charging support. The listing on JD.com revealed that it will come with a 1TB storage option and a Liquid Knight (silver) variant with the model number RMX3852.

If you observe the teaser image above, you’ll notice that Realme hasn’t made any design changes when comparing it to its sibling, the GT Neo 6 SE.

Apart from this, all the information surrounding this smartphone is still under wraps. However, it is expected to come with a 5,500 mAh battery and may support the same screen size as its sibling which was released last month in China.
