Realme GT Neo 6 series reportedly includes Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 phones
Rumours that emerged at the beginning of this year for China claimed that Realme will announce the GT Neo 6, an affordable flagship phone, after the Realme 12 Pro lineup in the Chinese market. Last month, the brand announced the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ in China, and it appears that the GT Neo 6 will debut this month in the home market. Recent leaks have also suggested that the brand is working on the GT Neo 6 series and not just one phone. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed what to expect from the series.
According to the leaker, the Realme GT Neo 6 series is equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets. However, he did not specify the names of these devices. There is a possibility that the former could be the Realme GT Neo 6 SE and the latter could be the Realme GT Neo 6. Qualcomm is yet to announce these chipsets. The tipster claimed that the GT Neo 6 series will not be the first to launch with these chipsets.
The GT Neo 6 SE and GT Neo 6 are expected to succeed the Realme GT Neo 5 SE and Realme GT Neo 5, which debuted the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets, respectively, last year. For those who don’t know, the Realme RMX3851 phone, which was recently spotted with the alleged Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, is believed to be the GT Neo 6.
The tipster claimed that the GT Neo 6 series will have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. In addition, both devices are expected to support 100W charging. The rumour mill is yet to leak the other specs of the Neo 6 lineup.
