Red Magic 9 Pro Smartphone Teased to Come with No Camera Bumps; Thickness Revealed
Nubia has already confirmed the launch date for its Red Magic 9 series in China, and now the brand has revealed a few design specs of the upcoming Red Magic 9 Pro model.
Read about it below.
Red Magic 9 Pro – No Camera Bumps and 8.9mm Thickness
The previous Red Magic 8 Pro smartphone that was unveiled in the month of December of 2022 had a triple camera unit at its rear, housed within three independent circular modules placed in a vertical style at the center. These camera modules were also slightly projected outward.
In comparison to this, the upcoming Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone from Nubia is now confirmed to feature a camera unit with absolutely no bumps, offering a truly flat rear panel design. From the teaser image shared, we can also understand that the device has both a flat display, as well as flat side panels.
Coming to the thickness, the smartphone has been revealed to have a thickness of 8.9mm, the same as its predecessor. Notably, the cooling fan’s inlet and outlet vents can also be seen on the side panels.
Nubia will be releasing its Red Magic 9 series in the Chinese market a week later, on the 23rd of November 2023, at 2 PM local time, and it is expected that two smartphone devices may be launched – the Red Magic 9 and the Red Magic 9 Pro. However, it should be noted that the brand has been talking only about the pro model till now.
About the other updates, the upcoming Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm, and an expected Geekbench listing of the device points to some other features. The upcoming Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone could have the Android 14 operating system out of the box and may have a 12GB RAM variant. We can also expect the top-end storage variant to offer 16GB/18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
More updates regarding the Red Magic 9 series will probably be on its way, with which we’ll be able to get better clarity about the upcoming smartphones. Stay tuned until then.
