Xiaomi has officially unveiled two of its Redmi 13C series smartphones in the Indian market. The two latest devices – Redmi 13C & Redmi 13C 5G, will be put up for sale this month itself.

Redmi 13C
The Redmi 13C device is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM(8GB virtual) and 256GB of storage. It features a 6.74″ HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. At the back, the device also has a 50MP AI triple camera unit with macro capability. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports an 18W USB type-C fast charge feature. Other features are the splash & dust resistant body, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and quick unlock fingerprint scanner.
The device comes in three storage options – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, & 8GB/256GB, and are priced at special launch prices of Rs. 7,999, Rs. 8,999, & Rs. 10,499, respectively. With the ICICI Bank discount, a Rs. 1,000 off can also be availed. Customers will be able to pick the smartphone in two colors – Starshine Green & Stardust Black. The sale of the 13C smartphone will begin on the 12th of December 2023, at 12PM noon, and will be made available via mi.com, amazon.com, & also through Xiaomi Retail.
Redmi 13C 5G
The Redmi 13C 5G smartphone features a Star Trail design and has the same 6.74″ HD+ display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ chipset and has RAM of up to 16GB(8GB virtual). The device also supports UFS 2.2 storage of up to 256GB. It also sports a 50MP dual camera unit with 7 classic filters and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with USB type-C 18W fast charge support. The splash and dust-resistant body, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and the quick unlock fingerprint sensor are some other features of the smartphone.
The 5G model also comes in the same three storage options of 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, & 8GB/256GB, with special launch prices of Rs. 9,999, Rs, 11,499, & Rs. 13,499, respectively. It will be offered in three color choices – Starlight Black, Startrail Silver, & Startrail Green. The sale of the device will be from the 16th of December 2023, at 12PM noon onwards. It will be available on mi.com, amazon. in, and via Xiaomi Retail. The Rs. 1,000 ICICI bank discount and the Xiaomi Easy Finance at Rs. 999 per month are also available with the smartphone.
Also, the Indian launch video of the Redmi 13C series was entirely shot on the latest Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G device, and it has been officially revealed that it will be making its way to the Indian market in January 2024, next month.
