Redmi and Motorola officially unveiled to launch smartphones under Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, iQOO Z9 series also coming
Qualcomm has today officially unveiled its highly anticipated Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Soc and it was said that OEMS like Honor, Xiaomi, Realme, Redmi, and iQOO will be using this latest mobile platform in their upcoming devices. While it was said that the first device with this chipset is expected to launch this month only, the name of the device was not revealed.
Well, the OEMs have finally started announcing the launch of devices with this newly launched chipset. Redmi has today officially announced that Redmi’s new smartphone is the first batch to be equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Looks like there will be a new Redmi series smartphone that will be powered with this chipset. Apart from this earlier reports have hinted that Redmi Note 13 Turbo might also be equipped with this chipset. Nothing can be said at this time that whether Redmi is also talking about Redmi Note 13 Turbo or a new smartphone series, hence we need to wait for the official confirmation.
iQOO has also officially announced that the iQOO Z9 series arriving in China will also be equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. As per the poster image, the iQOO Z9 series will be arriving in April in the Chinese market.
Other than this, Motorola has also made it official to launch a device with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
There are chances that this upcoming device might be Motorola X50 Ultra aka Motorola Edge 50 Pro that is expected to launch soon in China. However, earlier leaks have hinted that the Motorola X50 Ultra/ Edge 50 Pro may come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
