Redmi K60 Ultra’s display resolution, refresh rate officially confirmed
Yesterday, Redmi held an event in China to unveil key details about the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra. During the event, the company confirmed that the device would be equipped with the latest Dimensity 9-series chipset and a dedicated display chip. Subsequently, the brand released a new poster today to confirm the display resolution and refresh rate of the device.
According to the brand’s announcement, the Redmi K60 Ultra’s display will offer a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. The device will also incorporate the PixelWorks X7 visual processor, aimed at enhancing both viewing and gaming experiences.
Under the hood, the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset will power the device. Notably, this new chip is currently only available in a few other phones such as the iQOO Neo 8 Pro and the Vivo X90s. In terms of performance, the brand revealed that the device achieved a score of 1,774,714 on AnTuTu benchmarks, indicating superior performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
While Redmi is yet to confirm additional details about the K60 Ultra, recent information from the 3C certification of the device, which was spotted last month, suggests it will offer 120W fast charging.
Recent reports have also shed light on the K60 Ultra’s configurations. It is expected to come in two variants: one with 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and another with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The device is speculated to be available in two colour options: black and cyan.
