Redmi K70 3C certified, reveals 90W fast charging
In December 2022, Redmi introduced the Redmi K60 series of smartphones. While initially it was suggested that the Redmi K70 series would be revealed in December this year, more recent reports now suggest a possible launch in November. In anticipation of this upcoming release, the purported Redmi K70 has gained approval from China’s 3C authority.

The Redmi K70 has appeared with model number 2311DRK48C in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. The listing reveals that the device may ship with an MDY-14-EC charger that offers up to 90W fast charging. It is a significant upgrade, as the Redmi K60 offers comparatively slower 67W charging.
The “2311” numbers in the model number of the Redmi K70 are a good hint that it may go official in November. Here is a look at the rumoured specifications of the device.

As per reports, the device will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on MUI 15-based Android 14 and feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. Under the hood, it will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a 5,500mAh battery.
The K70 may feature a 20-megapixel front camera, and its rear camera setup may include a Sony IMX800 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. The primary snapper could be accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a telephoto camera with OIS and 3.2x optical zoom support.
