Xiaomi launched its Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in the Chinese market last month, in August 2023, and now reports have already arrived pointing to the next K70 series which will comprise the Redmi K70, K70 Pro, K70e, and K70 Ultra devices. Of the four, the first three smartphones are to launch first and the Ultra model will probably launch in a later period.
One of the upcoming smartphones, the Redmi K70 Pro, has been spotted on the Geekbench database, and as revealed before, the motherboard is not codename “corot”, but “manet”.
Here’s more about it.

Previously, the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro smartphone was said to have made it to the Geekbench database with a model number 23113RKC6C, and a tipster had pointed out an issue in it, stating that it had been spoofed or made up.
Now, the device has made it to the Geekbench database with a different model number – 23117RK66C, and just like the tipster had mentioned, the motherboard is not codenamed as “corot”.
The Xiaomi 23117RK66C, the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro smartphone, has received a single-core score of 1,100 points and a multicore score of 5,150 points on Geekbench 5. The device has a motherboard codenamed “manet” and it will come pre-installed with the Android 14 operating system.

The device has also been tipped to have a 2K OLED display with a narrow chin and is probably going to have a glass body with a metal frame. It might also be backed by a 5,500 mAh battery and is likely to support a 120W wired fast charge feature along with wireless charging support.
As far as its launch is concerned, it is expected to take place by the end of this year in the Chinese market, and its global variant will have its launch afterward.
