Redmi is currently gearing up to launch Redmi K60 Ultra in the Chinese market as per various reports. This upcoming device is said to be the last smartphone that will be introduced under the already-launched K60 series. Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to make its debut in China in the month of July only. Now as per a recent report by GizmoChina, the smartphone brand will be introducing the Redmi K70 series a few months after the launch of the Redmi K60 Ultra.
In the report, the model number of all the smartphones under the upcoming series has been revealed that surfaced on the IMEI database. It is expected that the K70 series will be making its debut in China by the end of this year. The series is said to include Redmi K70, Redmi K70e, and Redmi K70 Pro. On the IMEI database, three model numbers have been spotted 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C which are speculated to be of the upcoming Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro.
The starting “2311” in all the model numbers could mean that the series might make its debut in the month of November this year. Though this is just an assumption and for confirmation, we need to wait for the official announcement by the brand.
While it is also said that Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro will be rebranded as POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro in the global as well as Indian markets. In the IMEI database POCO F6 series model numbers have also been revealed as per which POCO F6 has model numbers 2311DRK48G (global) and 2311DRK481 (India) whereas POCO F6 Pro has model numbers 23113RKC6G (global) and 23113RKC61 (India). The F6 series is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of next year.
Other than this it is expected that Redmi K70 could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Redmi K70 Pro could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
