Redmi K70 series officially revealed to be powered with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, could be the Redmi K70 Pro

After the successful launch of the Redmi K60 series in China, the brand is now said to soon arrive with its successor- the Redmi K70 series. As per reports, the series will be making its debut in the month of November in China. The series will include smartphones- Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70E. Lately, these devices have been spotted on different certification websites revealing new information about upcoming smartphones.

Recently Qualcomm officially unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and just after its launch, many brands have officially revealed their smartphones which will be powered by this latest chipset. Similarly, Redmi has also announced that its upcoming Redmi K70 series also uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is expected that the Redmi K70 Pro will be the device powered by this processor.

     

Previously it Redmi K70 Pro was spotted with two different chipsets on the Geekbench database- Dimensity 9200+ SoC and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Hence there are chances that there could be two variants with different processors. It was also revealed that the Redmi K70 series will run on MIUI 15 based on Android 14. Recently two variants of Redmi K70 Pro were also spotted on the 3C certification websites that revealed that both the variants will support 120W fast charging.

Since the smartphone brand has started teasing the specs of the Redmi K70 series, we might get to know more updates regarding the specifications and launch date of this upcoming series.
