Redmi K70 Ultra battery size tipped well before launch
Redmi is reportedly working on two new smartphones for the Chinese market: the Redmi Note 13 Turbo and the Redmi K70 Ultra. While there is no clarity on the launch timeframe of these devices, it seems that both may go official within the first half of the year. Chinese leakers have been steadily disclosing details about the K70 Ultra. A new Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu has unveiled the battery size of the device.
According to the leaker, the Redmi K70 Ultra will feature a new battery, suggesting that it could be larger than the 5,000mAh battery powering last year’s Redmi K60 Ultra. When asked in the comments section of the post whether it packs a 5,500mAh battery, the leaker responded with a thumbs-up emoji, hinting that it may indeed have the said battery size. The K70 Ultra will lack support for satellite connectivity. The leaker also said a new Redmi tablet is coming soon to China, but did not specify any of its details.
Previous reports have revealed that the Redmi K70 Ultra will have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and up to 5,000 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the device is likely to feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset. It is speculated that the device may come with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The other specs of the phone are under wraps. As per reports, a tweaked version of the device may be released globally as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
As far as the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, it is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip. The said device is likely to get rebranded as the Poco F6 5G in the global market.
