Redmi Note 13 4G global variant tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC
Redmi Note 13 series was launched officially in China last month and the series received an overwhelming response from consumers in China. The series included three smartphones- Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. After launching the series in its home country, the smartphone brand is now said to soon launch this latest series in the global markets as well.
Lately, the devices from the Redmi Note 13 series have been spotted on various certification websites hinting towards its global as well as Indian launch. Now ahead of the official launch of this series in the global markets, we came across an important update related to the Redmi Note 13 smartphone. According to tipster @kacskrz Redmi Note 13 global variant will be powered by a Snapdragon 685 SoC. But this latest update revealed by the tipster is related to the Redmi Note 13 4G model.
Don't expect a revolution from Redmi Note 13 (basic Global-only model), at least when comes to the CPU. It will use the same SoC as RN12, Snapdragon 685.

Redmi Note 13 series made its debut in China with three models but with this latest revelation seems like Redmi is planning to launch four smartphones under this series in global markets- Redmi Note 13 4G, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. This is because we earlier spotted the Redmi Note 13 5G model on the IMDA website and now the tipster has revealed the information about the 4G model. The predecessor of the Redmi Note 13 –the Redmi Note 12 series also arrived with four smartphones in the global markets and it appears that the brand will be repeating the same pattern. Redmi Note 12 4G model is also powered by a Snapdragon 685 SoC.
Redmi Note 13 5G: Specifications
The Chinese variant of this smartphone has an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67″ and a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. At its rear, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup featuring a 100MP main camera and an additional 2MP camera. For selfies, there is also a 16MP front camera. The device is also backed by a 5000 mAh battery and has a 33W fast charge feature.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS. It arrives with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
