Redmi Note 13 Series Smartphones, Pad SE Tablet and Buds 5 Earbuds Launched in China: Now Available for Purchase
Finally, the much awaited Redmi devices have made their debut in the Chinese market. Three Note 13 series smartphone devices, the Special Edition Pad tablet, and the Buds 5 earbuds have been launched.

Redmi Note 13 Series
Redmi Note 13 5G
The Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone comes equipped with MediaTek’s 6080 chipset and has a primary clock speed of 2.4 GHz. The device is also integrated with the Mali-G57 GPU and has the MIUI 14 custom UI based on the Android 13 operating system. It comes in storage options with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For its display, the smartphone has an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67″ and a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. At its rear, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup featuring a 100MP main camera and an additional 2MP camera. For selfies, there is also a 16MP front camera. The device is also backed by a 5000 mAh battery and has a 33W fast charge feature.
There are four storage options available for the Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB & 12GB/256GB. The four storage variants are priced at ¥1099(actual price: ¥1199), ¥1199(actual price: ¥1299), ¥1399(actual price: ¥1499) & ¥1599(about price: ¥1699), respectively. It is available in three color choices as well – Time Blue, Midnight Dark & Star Sand White.
Redmi Note 13 Pro
The Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with a primary clock speed of 2.4GHz. The device is integrated with the Adreno 710 GPU and runs on the Android 13 based MIUI 14 custom user interface. It is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The device features the second generation 1.5K high-gloss eye protection OLED display screen with a screen size of up to 6.67″. The display also has a screen resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Note 13 Pro smartphone also sports a triple camera unit with a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 16MP front-facing camera is also present. The smartphone is also backed by a 5100 mAh battery and comes with a fast charge support of up to 67W.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone is available in five storage options – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB & 16GB/512GB, with price tags of ¥1,399(actual price – ¥1,499), ¥1,499(actual price – ¥1,599), ¥1,699(actual price – ¥1,799), ¥1,899(actual price: ¥1,999) & ¥1,999(actual price – ¥2,099), respectively. Customers can get the device in four color choices – Midnight Dark, Time Blue, Star Sand White & Light Dream Space.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+
The top end model, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset onboard and has its primary cores clocked at 2.8 GHz. The device is integrated with the Imagiq 765 GPU and has the Android 13 operating system pre-installed along with the MIUI 14 custom skin. Storage variants with a RAM of up to 16GB and internal storage of up to 512GB are also offered
The smartphone also features the second generation 1.5K high-gloss eye protection OLED display screen with a 6.67″ screen size and a 2712 x 1220 pixels screen resolution. A refresh rate of up to 120Hz is also supported by its display. The device also sports a 200MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup and a 16MP HD front-facing camera. It is also backed by a 5000 mAh battery and has a 120W fast charge feature.
The device has been made available in four color choices and three storage options. Customers can get the 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB & 16GB/512GB variants at prices of ¥1899(actual price – ¥1999), ¥2099(actual price – 2199) & ¥2199(actual price – ¥2299), respectively. All these variants are available in Midnight Dark, Mirror White & Light Dream Space colors.
The 12GB/512GB variant also has an AAPE limited edition model priced ¥2199, but will only be available on the 26th of September, 2023.
Redmi Pad SE
The Redmi Pad SE is powered by the Snapdragon 680 4G chipset from Qualcomm and has its primary cores clocked at 2.4 GHz. It is also integrated with the Adreno 610 GPU and runs on the Android 13 based operating system with the MIUI Pad 14 custom skin.
For its display, it features an IPS LCD display with a screen size of 11” and a screen resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness rate, and a 207 DPI screen density. It also has a screen-to-body ratio of 81.4%. The device at its rear has an 8MP single camera unit and for selfies, a 5MP selfie cam. A quad-speaker setup is also part of the device. Regarding its battery specs, it is backed by an 8000 mAh battery and supports a 10W fast charging feature.
Redmi’s latest tablet device comes in three storage options in the Chinese market – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB & 8GB/256GB. They are priced at ¥899(actual price – ¥999), ¥999(actual price – ¥1099) & ¥1299, respectively.
Redmi Buds 5
The Redmi Buds 5 features an ergonomic design that is comfortable to wear and comes equipped with a pair of 12.4mm extra large titanium plated dynamic coils and has a total of two microphones. It supports Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3 and will be offering a total battery life of up to 40 hours, along with a fast charge feature (5-minute charge equals 2 hours of playtime).
It supports various audio features including a three-level noise reduction & transparency mode, four-speed EQ sound adjustment, 46dB deep active noise reduction with 2kHz wide-band noise reduction range, and Xiaomi’s self-developed anti-wind noise algorithm.
Redmi’s Buds 5 earbuds are available for purchase at a price of ¥199 and come in three colors – Midnight Dark, Clear Snow White, and Taro Purple.
Just like the Note 13 Pro+, the Buds 5 also has an AAPE limited edition model. It will be made available on the 26th of September along with the AAPE limited edition model of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone.
The AAPE limited edition model of the Redmi Buds 5 is priced ¥100 more than the normal models and is to be made available at a price of ¥299, 5 days later.
