We recently reported that Redmi Pad Pro is now shaping for its global launch, as it was spotted on Google Play Console. To remind everyone, even though Redmi Pad Pro(China) comes with an SD 7s Gen 2 processor, for some reason redmi launched it without 5G connectivity.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G Bluetooth SIG
Redmi Pad Pro 5G is listed with the model number “24074RPD2C” and a declaration ID “D068177”. The listing confirms Bluetooth connectivity version 5.2. The Redmi Pad Pro China version also comes with the same Bluetooth connectivity. The first four numbers 2407 of the model number suggest that it might be launched in the month of July. The letter “c” at the end suggests that this model number belongs to China.
We earlier reported that the global Wifi variant was spotted on the Google Play Console with two model numbers “2405CRPFDL” and “2405CRPFDG”. However, a new story from Android Headlines, highlights that there is also a 5G variant of the Redmi Pad Pro also coming in. This is evident from the first model number of the 5G series being spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification. The other model numbers reported by the publication are 24074RPD2G and 24074RPD2I. The “G” represents the global audience and “I “represents for India region. It is also revealed that the codename of the Wifi variant is “dizzy” and of the 5G variant is “ruan“.
It is also expected that everything will be the same as the recently launched Wi-Fi variant. This would mean that we will see the same processor SD 7s Gen 2 for the 5G variant also. Other than this we can also expect an e-sim feature, and may come for both China and global variants.
Since, it’s an early spotting, pricing, and availability are currently unknown. But it is expected to come in the month of June or July based on the model number.
