[Update] Redmi Pad Pro global variant spotted on Google Play Console with two model numbers
Update: Earlier Redmi Pad Pro was spotted with a model number “2405CRPFDL” and now the listing shows the global variant model number “2405CRPFDG”. Other than this everything is similar to our previous finding.
The rest of the story continues.
Redmi has recently launched the Redmi Pad Pro in its Home Country china. So far, the product is still on pre-sales in China and is expected to hit the shelves by 15th April. But, now it looks like Redmi is gearing up for the Global launch of this device. As we at The Tech Outlook have spotted this on the Google Play Console listing, revealing that the global launch is also near.
Redmi Pad Pro Global Variant
Let me start with the Wifi variant, this is spotted on the Google Play Console with a model number “2405CRPFDL” and “2405CRPFDG”. Earlier this model number was spotted on the EEC certification website, but at that time the moniker wasn’t known. But thanks to the Google Play Console listing, we have a clear understanding of what the global variant may look like. It is listed on Google Play Console with a code name Redmi dizi and model number “2405CRPFDL”.
As per the listing, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno 7series (940 MHz). Now actually this is the same processor that we saw in the variant that was recently launched in China. Coming to the other specs revealed via the listing are screen size “1600×2560”, Screen Density “320 DPI”, at least 8GB of RAM, and will boot Android 14 out of the box. We will probably see HyperOS version 1.0 similar to its Chinese counterpart.
In the Google Play Console-supported devices list, we can see two model numbers “2405CRPFDC” and “2405CRPFDG”. The former model number corresponds to the recently launched Redmi Pad Pro in China, while the latter is the Global variant, yet to be launched. Previously Redmi Pad Pro Global keyboard and Stylus were also spotted on SDPPI, FCC, IMDA, NRRA, and TDRA certifications.
Coming back to the two Model numbers, “2405CRPFDL” this version will be sold in Latin America while “2405CRPFDG” will be sold globally. Xiaomi, however, hasn’t shared any news regarding the global launch, but we may hear something soon about the launch of this tablet. Also, we can expect Xiaomi to launch the Redmi Pad Pro with similar specs as that of the Chinese counterpart.
