Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) Global variant along with Poco F6 spotted on SDPPI certification, Hinting at Imminent Indonesia Launch
Xiaomi’s sub-brands, Redmi and Poco, have new gadgets up their sleeves for the global audience. Redmi is set to unveil a tablet named Redmi Pad Pro, expected to come in WIFI and 5G variants. Meanwhile, Poco is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under its F series, dubbed POCO F6. Both devices have been spotted on various certifications, hinting at an imminent launch. Today, we have spotted both of them on an Indonesian Telecom certification website called SDPPI.
First of Redmi pad Pro (WIFI) on SDPPI
Today, we spotted the Global WIFI variant of the Redmi Pad Pro on the SDPPI certification, bearing the model number “2405CRPFDG”. It is listed with the certification number “99163/SDPPI/2024” and was issued on May 7th, 2024. Under the brand name “Redmi” and the device category “Tablet Computers”, the certification does not explicitly mention the moniker. However, a previous listing on Google Play Console revealed that this model number belongs to the Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) Global Variant. Additionally, another model number, “2405CRPFDL”, belonging to this variant, is expected to launch in Latin America. So far, this tablet has been spotted on IMDA, with its Keyboard and Stylus also appearing on BIS, TDRA, SDPPI, IMDA, NRRA, and FCC. Redmi has already launched the Wifi variant of the Redmi Pad Pro in its home country china, with the model number “2405CRPFDC”.
However, a 5G variant of this tablet is also in the works; you can find details about it here.
Now next is Poco F6 on SDPPI
Coming to the Poco F6, it has been spotted on the SDPPI certification with the model number “24069PC21G”. It is listed with the certificate number “99162/SDPPI/2024”, issued on May 7, 2024, and the moniker is confirmed in this listing. However, it doesn’t provide much information about the features or specs that this smartphone will carry, except for the indication that it will be coming to Indonesia soon.
Speculations suggest that it might arrive as a rebranded version of the already-launched Redmi Turbo 3 in China. This rumor gains more credibility as a recent listing on Geekbench confirms that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC along with Android 14-based HyperOS. So far, it has been spotted on IMDA, NBTC, IMEI, BIS, and EEC certifications.
The Poco F6 will also have a sibling called the Poco F6 Pro, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the already launched Redmi K70 in China. So far, this is all the information I have to share with you. If anything more comes by, I’ll definitely share it with you.
