Samsung Galaxy A35 5G variants emerge in GCF database, launch imminent
Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy A35 5G smartphone as a successor to last year’s Galaxy A34 5G. Recently, a couple of Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy M15 5G and the Galaxy A55 5G, were listed in the database of the Global Certification Forum (GCF). Now, the same certification body has approved the Galaxy A35 5G, which suggests that it could be launching soon.
The above screenshot shows that a Samsung phone bearing model numbers SM-A356GB/DS, SM-A356E/DS, and SM-A356E has emerged in GCF’s database. As per reports, these model numbers belong to the Galaxy A35 5G.
The certification reveals that the Galaxy A35 5G will support network bands such as n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n26, n28, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, and n78. Specifically, the SM-A356B/DS variant also supports the n38 5G band. The GCF certification suggests that the above-mentioned Galaxy A35 variants are comparable with a wide range of network bands across the world.
The Galaxy A35 5G has also been approved by India’s BIS certification platform. In addition, its support page has emerged on Samsung UAE’s website.
As per reports, the Galaxy A35 5G will arrive with a 6.6-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. It will have the Exynos 1380 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 50-megapixel primary camera. The device is expected to ship with the One UI 6.1-based Android 14.
