Samsung Galaxy A55 5G shines itself on Google Play Console with Exynos 1480 SOC

Samsung has two new A series smartphones in the pipeline namely Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G. Earlier this week, Galaxy A35 5G made it to the Google Play Console and now we at  The Tech Outlook have spotted yet another Exynos brother. This is none other than Galaxy A55 5G on Google Play Console with model number SM-A556E, revealing some of the key specs about this smartphone.

So here is what we found in the listing

As per the listing, the Galaxy A55 5G is going to be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor with the Samsung Xclipse 530. Earlier, it was spotted on Geekbench also with the same processor, which rather solidifies the claim that it may come with the Exynos 1480. Now, coming to other aspects, the CPU has 4x ARM Cortex-A78 (2750 MHz) and 4x ARM Cortex-A55 (2000 MHz) with 8GB of RAM.

As per the listing, it may boot Android 14 out of the box, but unfortunately, we were not able to figure out whether it will be OneUI 6.0 or OneUI 6.1.

The screen size will be 6.5 Inches and will have a 1080p Full HD resolution with a 13:6 aspect ratio. The screen density is going to be 450 DPI.

Now this is probably the official renders that we can see directly from Google Play Console. The design element is quite similar to that of its sibling Galaxy A35 5G. As per these renders it looks like we will have a flat frame design.

Well, this is not the first time this smartphone has been spotted. So far it has been spotted on multiple certification websites namely MIITSDPPINBTCGCFBluetooth SIG, SIRIM, and TUV Rheinland.

From the TUV Rheinland certification, we can expect a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Not only this in the camera department we may see a 50MP(main) + 12MP(ultrawide) + 5MP(macro) triple camera unit, and for selfies, a 32MP front camera.

Now that both of these have been spotted on Google Play Console, we may hear some sort of announcement from Samsung soon about the launch of both of these smartphones.
