Samsung Galaxy A55 5G Smartphone Appears on Thailand’s NBTC Database
The upcoming Galaxy A55 5G smartphone from Samsung has now been certified by the NBTC certification authority of Thailand. An imminent launch is expected for this device.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G smartphone has made it to the NBTC database bearing the model number of “SM-A556E/DS”, and has received the certification with the certificate number of “B38089-24”. Its listing points out that the device will be supporting 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity.
Previously, the Galaxy A55 5G was also spotted on other certification platforms too such as the GCF, Bluetooth SIG, and TUV Rheinland databases. All these certifications confirm of an imminent launch.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G – Expected Specifications
The Galaxy A55 5G is said to be equipped with the brand’s own Exynos 1480 chipset, and is expected to have the Android 14 based One UI 6.1 custom skin out of the box. It is also likely going to arrive coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
For its display, the smartphone maybe featuring an OLED display panel with a 6.5″ screen size, full HD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate.
Coming to the cameras, the device might have a triple rear camera unit with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. A front-facing camera of 32MP is also expected.
Regarding the battery, a decent 5000 mAh battery is suggested to be backed within the device. A 25W fast charge feature is also said to be supported by the device.
