Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be powered by Exynos 2200 chipset reveals Geekbench listing
Ever since the speculations around the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE have started surfacing, tech enthusiasts have shown their keen interest in it because of its potential features. And as the days are passing it has begun visiting various certification websites. Now Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 2200 chipset and not with the Snapdragon processor that it was rumored to bring.
Galaxy S23 FE is spotted on GeekBench, running a 1.5-year-old Exynos 2200 chip and has 8 GB RAM capacity.
If this is true…
Instead of something like Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or even Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, they decided to use that "phenomenal" chip. 💀 pic.twitter.com/UObj7TjNEi— Alvin (@sondesix) July 6, 2023
It is listed on the Geekbench with the model number SM-S711B and will bring Android 13, 8GB RAM, and an s5e9925 motherboard. There is no such information regarding its other variant that comes with the Snapdragon chipset.
When Exynos 2200 debuted alongside the S22 series, it had to face a lot of backlash and criticism because of heating problems. Though Samsung worked on it and optimized it for improved functioning, bringing it back for the new device doesn’t seem good until Samsung wants to show the world its optimization capabilities.
This might be a saddening moment for the users who were waiting for this affordable smartphone. Samsung is also nowadays gearing up for the relaunch of S21 FE in India and even that smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon chipset.
