Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra display size, resolution leaked
Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are expected to break cover in the first quarter of 2024. Reliable tipster Ice Universe claimed that the S24 Ultra will come equipped with a flat display instead of a curved-edge screen. In his latest Weibo post, the tipster has revealed the display and resolution of the device.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and up to 2500 nits of brightness. He has also shared a mock render (shown above) to give a hint about the display design of the device.
The tipster previously claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra would have 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm dimensions and weigh 233 grams. This indicates that it will be shorter and wider than the S23 Ultra. When it comes to durability, the device will offer an IP68-rated chassis with a titanium alloy frame.
It is speculated that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will arrive in Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU variants, depending on the market. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging and 25W wireless charging. The S24 Ultra is expected to come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device will have a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera.
