Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Weight Tipped: Expected to Weigh Less than its Predecessor
Reports regarding the upcoming Galaxy S24 series are arriving more and more frequently and now, the weight of one of the upcoming smartphones has been revealed.

This update comes from a tipster(@Ice Universe) on the Twitter platform, who has shared that the upcoming S24 Ultra smartphone is expected to have a weight of 233 grams, which is actually 0.01 grams lesser than the now available Galaxy S23 Ultra which weighs a total of 234 grams.
It has already been said that the S24 Ultra is likely to have a titanium alloy middle frame which is heavier and denser than aluminum, but the tipster mentions that even if this middle frame is adopted, the weight of the device is to remain similar, and lesser to its predecessor. To note, the S23 Ultra has an aluminum frame.

About the other updates regarding the smartphone, the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have the same design language as its predecessor, however, the other two devices of the series, the S24 and S24+, might probably have a few design changes.
Recently, the specifications of the device were tipped as well, as per which, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400 chipsets, or maybe depending on the regions, the brand might make two processor variants available, as was the case of previous Galaxy S series devices.
The smartphone is also expected to have a similar 200MP quad camera setup but with a better 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capability. The other cameras are likely to be the same 12MP ultrawide camera and the 10MP periscope telephoto lens. The selfie camera is also expected to remain the same(12MP).
Regarding the battery, the device might be backed by the same 5000 mAh battery and has been tipped to support the same 45W fast charge feature. However, if we look into a previous report, Samsung is said to incorporate an electric vehicle charging technology into the device with the help of which, it is expected to achieve a fast charging capability of 65W.
Samsung’s next S24 series is only expected to have its launch next year, probably in the month of January or February when Samsung usually unveils its Galaxy S series devices. We can still expect more updates about the series and the upcoming devices in the coming days or in the coming few months, which will definitely help in getting more clarity about the smartphones.
