Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Smartphone Receives the SIRIM Certification from Malaysia
The South Korean consumer electronics maker, Samsung, will soon be unveiling its Galaxy XCover7 rugged version smartphone, and this upcoming device has now been certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM certification authority.

Galaxy XCover7 – SIRIM Certification
Samsung’s Galaxy XCover7 has received the SIRIM certification with the equipment registration number of “RGQL/02G/1223/S(23-5865)”. The device has been listed on the database with the model number – “SM-G556B”, and has been categorized under the mobile phone section. Its certification will be valid till the 18th of December 2024.
The Galaxy XCover7 smartphone has previously also received other certifications too such as the NBTC, Bluetooth SIG, and BIS certifications, and was spotted on the Geekbench database as well. Some of its specifications have been revealed, and its launch is likely to be near.
Galaxy XCover7 – Expected/Revealed Specifications
The upcoming Galaxy XCover7 is assumed to be a rugged version of the Galaxy A55 5G device, and will be powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chipset as per its Geekbench listing. The device will also have the Android 14 operating system out of the box and will have a 6GB RAM variant. It will support a Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.
Design-wise, the device will also be having a durable and sturdy structure having raised corners. The display will have thick bezels and a water-drop notch. The rear panel features grooved designs, and has a single rear camera unit along with a dual tone LED flash. A customizable XCover key will also be present on the left side panel, whereas the power button and volume rocker will be at the right.
