Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Spotted on the BIS Indian Certification

Samsung is expected to launch its latest foldable devices – the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 next month in its home market, in South Korea, and ahead of its launch, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 has been spotted on the BIS Indian certification platform.

Samsung has confirmed to conduct its Unpacked Event next month, in July 2023 and the brand’s foldable devices which include the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, are two of the many devices that are expected to be unveiled at the event. Previous reports have also pointed out this and the devices are likely to be launched on the 26th of July, 2023.

Now ahead of its launch, we have spotted the Galaxy Z Fold 5, one of the upcoming devices on the BIS certification platform and the device has made its appearance with the model number, SM-F946B/DS.

Nothing much has been revealed from its appearance on the certification platform but, with this, it has been confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will also be making its way to the Indian market.

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 had previously received the 3C certification from China and has also made its appearance on the Geekbench database. It has been revealed that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have improved performance levels compared to its predecessor. The device will also support a 25W fast charging feature as well.

The OneUI 5.1.1 test builds of the device were also spotted on Samsung’s servers and the 5K renders and 360-degree video have also been shared.
