Samsung S24 Ultra may not feature most anticipated variable zoom capabilities

Long before the development of the S23 news started surfacing that the S24 series can bring variable zoom capabilities. Now rumour has arrived around this smartphone series that claims Samsung has dropped the plan to add this into its next S series of smartphones which is the S24 series. The company might be adding the same quad camera setup on the rear panel in the S24 Ultra that we have been looking at in the Ultra model of the S series since the S20 Ultra.

Recently we witnessed the launch of the S23 series S23 Ultra with the quad camera system. This rumour has been reported by the famous tipster named Tech_Reve on Twitter. He wrote, “The plan to use variable zoom in S24 has been cancelled. Samsung will maintain the existing 4 camera design”.

He is the same tipster who revealed the design of the S24 series earlier in May. The tweet made by the tipster revealed that this series will also be launched with the same basic design as its predecessor. If we talk about the time when this series will be launched it might enter the market early in 2024 because the S series has a history of arriving around January and February.
